THE CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION FESTIVAL
The North Bay Centennial Celebration Festival on July 23rd, 2025 is one of the locations where we will showcase what our beautiful city has to offer to the judges of Communities in Bloom.
“The Centennial Celebration Festival is an exciting, community-driven event that proudly honors North Bay, Ontario’s 100th anniversary. Hosted by Clean, Green, Beautiful North Bay, this memorable celebration will bring together residents and visitors for a day of fun, connection, and shared pride in our city’s rich history, vibrant waterfront, and commitment to sustainability. Set against the stunning backdrop of the iconic Kiwanis Bandshell, the event will feature live performances in partnership with the City of North Bay's Summer Concert Series.
A bustling community fair will showcase local non-profits and service organizations, all committed to enhancing the beauty and sustainability of our city. Booths will highlight innovative community initiatives, educational programs, and green practices, giving attendees a chance to engage with organizations working toward the city’s future growth and environmental preservation.
With the “100 Giveaways” theme, sustainable and commemorative items will be shared with the public, including 100 centennial pins. Attendees will enjoy food giveaways (such as cupcakes, cookies, apples, and oranges), promoting a zero-waste mentality and enhancing the event’s focus on environmental consciousness. This festival will not only celebrate the history and beauty of North Bay but will also serve as a meaningful reminder of our collective responsibility to nurture and protect our environment.” (Corporation of the City of North Bay, 2025)
