CGB Community Garden Hub

Clean, Green, Beautiful North Bay is revitalizing the former Gathering Place Garden into an inclusive community space where residents can grow food, connect across cultures and generations, and build community pride. Our vision is to create a thriving garden filled with food crops, native plants, flowers, and fruit trees that supports local food security, sustainability, and shared learning in a safe and welcoming environment for all.

Adopt a Garden Plot

We are seeking community groups, organizations, and programs to adopt a section of the garden and help it thrive throughout the growing season. Adopting a plot provides a hands-on opportunity for participants and clients to learn gardening skills, connect with nature, build confidence, and contribute to a shared community space. Groups can grow food, flowers, or pollinator-friendly plants while fostering teamwork, wellness, and environmental stewardship. Together, we can create a vibrant, welcoming garden that supports learning, inclusion, and community connection.

Volunteer With Us!

We welcome individuals who want to help maintain and grow the garden throughout the season. Volunteers can assist with planting, watering, weeding, harvesting, and general upkeep while enjoying time outdoors and connecting with the community. Whether you are an experienced gardener or just getting started, volunteering is a great way to learn new skills, support a shared community space, and help keep the garden clean, green, and beautiful for everyone.

Support The Garden

Community support helps us continue restoring and growing this shared space for everyone to enjoy. Donations of any size will go toward garden materials, tools, soil, plants, accessibility improvements, and ongoing maintenance. You can support the project through our GoFundMe campaign, and if you are interested in sponsorship opportunities or would like to make an in-kind donation such as plants, tools, lumber, soil, or supplies, please reach out to us by email — we would love to partner with you to help the garden thrive.

Community Workshops

Monthly we host educational community workshops focused on gardening, sustainability, food growing, environmental stewardship, and cultural knowledge sharing. These hands-on sessions are open to all ages and experience levels, offering opportunities to learn new skills, connect with others, and grow together in a welcoming community environment.
